Marlene Delledera, Director of Dining
Marlene, a graduate of Sweet Briar College, has been with Meriwether Godsey for 20+ years. She has extensive experience in all aspects of food services and has orchestrated many special events, fundraisers, weddings throughout her career. She embodies our motto to, ‘Love Food, People, and Serving Others’, and will demonstrate this day in and day out to the Sweet Briar Community!
Bryan Holleman, Interim Executive Chef
Bryan has a decade of tenure with MG in a variety of settings, including Chef at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond, VA. He is passionate about food and will bring to Sweet Briar an emphasis on sustainable, local, and health-conscious menus and recipes.
Ben Phillips, Manager
Most recently, Ben has served as an MG traveling manager which provided him with experience in a variety of settings from boarding schools to high-end retail venues. Previously, he was Chef at the Farmbasket and an event manager at West Manor Estate. All of these roles have allowed Ben to sharpen his culinary, event management, and leadership skills.
Katy Murray, Manager
Katy started with the MG family at the Farmbasket in 2007 as the Garden Manager. In that role, she had the opportunity to work not only with garden decor but to supervise many events hosted at the Farmbasket and remotely. Her fun-loving, full of energy, positive attitude will surely put a smile on anyone’s face!
Marta Ruggles, Senior District Manager
Marta has been part of the MG family since 1988, and has been a District Manager since 1994. In our business, it’s the details that make the difference and Marta’s determined, methodical approach to those details will serve Sweet Briar well. Her natural tendencies to coach and mentor staff members will surely help build a fun, flexible team at SBC!
